To Conduct Research at the CDL

[Step1] Submit a research request: CDL Research Request Proposal

[Step2] Requests are screened by the CDL in terms of factors such as:

  • IRB Approval (required)
  • Feasibility of proposed methods
  • Safety/well-being of child participants
  • Project timeline
  • Level of required family involvement
  • Impact of the research on classroom schedules and CDL research space
[Step 3] After receiving project approval at the CDL, you must:
  • Complete an authorization for background check form
  • Schedule a training session with the CDL Graduate Research Assistant
  • Schedule classroom time and research pull-out space with the Associate Director (at ECDL building) and/or the Program Coordinator (at the CDL building)
  • Be available to respond to questions and concerns raised by parents
