Resources

Resources available to researchers at the CDL include:

  • Research pull-out rooms: Pull-out rooms are available in both buildings that allow research to be conducted in a quiet, focused environment. Children under two years are not permitted to leave the classroom for research purposes without a CDL staff member available to join them.
  • Research tag boards: Color-coded classroom research tag boards inform researchers which children are available to pull for research each day.
  • Observation booths/galleries: The observation booths/galleries at the CDL offer researchers an effective and unobtrusive way to gain observational data of children.
  • Assistance with recruitment: The CDL will assist with the recruitment of CDL families by distributing and collecting consent forms for researchers.
